I had a Spetre reel that needed service. I sent it in. Unfortunately, it couldn't be fixed - my fault. I had buttoned down the drag when rinsing it off with water and forgot to loosen the drag in storage. I ended up buying a new reel because the spectra reels are light, turn smoothly, and look beautiful. I was given a generous discount. Communication was clear throughout the entire process.

The 2 weight rod and the 1-4 fly line is great. The rod seems more like a 2/4 weight than a two though

Tried the flyline over this past weekend. Did well except I had to apply Mucilin to
keep it afloat. Probably needs more research to make it float better.

Looks like a good match for the Snobee Davy Wotton rod. Three spools give some versatility in angling situations.

Not got to use it yet it’s lite feels well balanced and with reel on it, I like the looks of it and reel seats it’s a good rod from just looking at

I use this rod mostly for fishing dead drift Spiders on a stream and “loch style” from a moving boat on lake and stream. Very fine tool for these applications.

Have used this reel a couple times now and I’m impressed with its drag. Had a 21 inch rainbow that put me into the drag and it handled it flawlessly. For the price I’d highly recommend it.

This line casts beautifully. I’ve only used it on a 4wt rod so far, but I’m confident it will work equally well on my 3 and 5wt rods. Line shoots out really well for those longer casts.
